Dreaming up a new brand for a grand vision
With the backing of Minderoo Foundation, this single community project transformed into a nationwide movement, needing a brand bold enough to match its impact.
Armed with national ambitions and strong philanthropic support, The Resilience Canopy was ready to launch as a not-for-profit organisation with a big goal: supporting communities to lead their own resilience efforts.
But before the vision could take root, it needed a name, an identity, and a purpose narrative to show not just what it was, but why it matters.
Neon Bureau created the brand story from scratch – channelling the deep importance of connection between people and place. Inspired by the strength and vitality of tree canopies, the name and identity chosen reflect a unifying vision for communities nationwide.
From there, we built the organisation’s communications channels – including YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn and a dedicated website – and brought the story to life through video, printed collateral and media engagement.
Since its beginnings in 2023, we’ve helped drive the narrative of The Resilience Canopy through live expert panel events, conference activations, and countless community presentations. The next frontier is advocacy and supporting systems change that puts communities firmly in the drivers seat.
